Power

at the Biennale of Sydney

commissioned by Inner West Council as part of EDGE Inner West, presented in partnership with Biennale of Sydney

Elle Evangelista

Force Majeure will perform ‘Power’ as part of EDGE Inner West, a festival of new and reimagined performance commissions for the Biennale of Sydney at White Bay Power Station.

Utilising Force Majeure's unique blend of storytelling, movement and sound, ‘Power’ is a celebration of the industrious spirits who once operated the machinery at White Bay Power Station until it closed on Christmas Day in 1983.

Having stood silent, frozen in time, performers will breathe life into the space, weaving an immersive dance and live soundscape to unveil a narrative responding to the essence of the power station's history.
