Force Majeure presents a new workshop sharing tried and tested approaches for navigating consent, boundaries and intimacy in theatre-making. Learn how to participate in or lead safe, productive and artistically satisfying processes in creative spaces that are centered around the body.

Led by Force Majeure’s Artistic Director, Danielle Micich, these workshops are the convergence of over 30 years experience navigating physical intimacy as an artist, choreographer, movement director, and facilitator, (Bell Shakespeare, Sydney Theatre Company, Dance Massive, Performing Lines WA) and a decade of intimacy direction for film, television and theatre (BUMP, The Other Guy 2, Before 8am). This is a unique opportunity to learn how to integrate intimacy coordination methodologies with your existing physical practice.

This workshop series aims to establish a basis for standard-practice in physical and psychological safety for the dance and physical performance sectors, contributing to a robust and confident industry.
